Changes Effective November 14th

flag shipicon IX Taihang Ship Page

  • AP Shell Improvements:
    • Damage: Increased from 12,100 to 13,250. This buff enhances Taihang’s ability to deal significant armor-piercing damage, improving her effectiveness against enemy armor.
    • Penetration: Enhanced penetration on AP shells, allowing for better performance against heavily armored ships.
      • AP Shell Krupp was 2300.0 now 2433.0
  • Main Battery Range: Increased from 21.7 km to 23.1 km, giving Taihang greater reach and allowing it to engage enemies from a safer distance.
  • Repair Party Consumable: The number of available charges has been reduced from 4 to 3, which may require more strategic use of this repair capability.

  • Acoustic Torpedo:
    • Damage: Increased from 8,500 to 8,933, making these torpedoes more punishing for targets.
    • Range: Extended from 10 km to 10.5 km, providing slightly more flexibility in positioning while remaining effective.
  • Sonar:
    • Range: Increased from 10 km to 10.5 km to match the acoustic torpedo range, which can help in detecting ships and optimizing torpedo strikes.
    • Sonar Sector: The width of the highlighted sonar sector will expand after the first successful hit, making follow-up pings easier to land and enhancing tracking capabilities.

flag Cruiser Special Ship Icon X Yari Ship Page

  • Main Battery Firing Range: Increased from 15.2 km to 15.9 km, allowing Yari to engage from further away, enhancing its viability in longer-range engagements.

Changes Effective in Live Update 13.11

flag shipicon IX Taihang Ship Page

  • Main Battery 180° Traverse Time: Decreased from 56.3 seconds to 45 seconds. This faster turret rotation will allow Taihang to respond more effectively to threats and improve aiming flexibility, especially in close-quarters engagements.

flag shipicon X Archerfish Ship Page

  • Combat Instruction Update: Archerfish's Combat Instruction name and icon will be updated to better reflect its redefined parameters, though specific changes to the instruction itself weren’t detailed.

flag shipicon IX Niord Ship Page

  • Torpedo Launcher Reload: Reduced from 140 seconds to 110 seconds, allowing Niord to launch torpedoes more frequently.
  • Repair Party Consumable:
    • HP Restoration Rate: Increased from 320 to 383 HP per second, enhancing Niord’s resilience by accelerating health recovery.
    • Reload Time: Reduced from 80 seconds to 60 seconds, providing quicker access to the Repair Party, potentially allowing Niord to stay in battle longer.

flag Cruiser Special Ship Icon Vladimir Monomakh (UU test ship for X Al Nevsky)

  • Unique Upgrade Testing Modifications:
    • Ship Detectability Range: Reduced by 15%, making Vladimir Monomakh harder to detect, allowing it to remain concealed longer and avoid early engagements.
    • Surveillance Radar Range: Reduced by 33.3%, limiting the radar’s reach for spotting enemies, balancing the increased concealment.
    • Consumable Action Time: Increased by 10%, extending the duration of all consumables, enhancing the ship's operational flexibility in battles.
    • Upgrade Slot 5: Removed to align with other balancing changes, potentially limiting some customization options.

These adjustments aim to refine each ship's role and performance, addressing specific strengths and weaknesses highlighted during testing.
