Taihang: Tier IX Pan-Asian (China) Premium Battleship 1952
A battleship of the A140-J3 design developed in Japan in the mid-1930s, preceding the construction of the Yamato-class battleships. After World War II, the ship could have been transferred to the U.S.S.R. and modernized with a significant portion of its armament replaced with Soviet models, after which it would have been transferred to the PRC in the early 1950s. The battleship's main battery is represented by eight 406-mm guns in four turrets. The ship was named in honor the mountain range in the north-central China.

Key Features
Long-Range Accuracy: Taihang excels at hitting targets at long distances, thanks to her unique dispersion pattern that keeps shells tightly grouped as the range increases.
High Damage Potential: Her armor-piercing shells have high damage and penetration, making them very effective when they hit.
Close Combat Capability: Equipped with two quadruple deepwater torpedo launchers on each side of her aft, Taihang can deliver a powerful punch in close-range engagements.
Weaknesses: Taihang has slow turret traverse, weak armor, and slow speed, making her vulnerable in fair fights. Additionally, her anti-aircraft suite is relatively weak, requiring protection from friendly cruisers.
Gameplay
Second Line Sniper: Best used at long range (over 16 kilometers) to take advantage of her shell ballistics and accuracy.
Avoid Close Quarters: Use deepwater torpedoes in emergencies but avoid brawls with enemy battleships.
Positioning: Monitor the minimap and team deployment to create crossfires and stay close to cruisers and destroyers.
Vulnerability: Be cautious of enemy cruisers due to Taihang’s light armor plating.
