A large, well-armed ship with powerful armour protection. It was essentially a draft design for an H-class battleship equipped with 380 mm triple main battery turrets.

In the 1920s and 30s, large warships of the German Navy were typically named after their predecessors that had perished in World War I. Pre-dreadnought battleship Pommern, named after the province on the coast of the Baltic Sea, was sunk in the Battle of Jutland.
Main Characteristics 
Pommern is a classic representative of German battleships that was named after an Eastern German province. The ship is a variant of the H-class project battleship, equipped with triple turrets that house 380 mm guns for her main battery. Decent armor, as well as powerful secondary and torpedo armament, allow the ship a high degree of confidence in close quarters combat.
