Derfflinger German Tier V Battlecruiser 1914
Mackensen German Tier VI Battlecruiser
Prinz Heinrich German Tier VII Battlecruiser
Prinz Rupprecht German Tier IX Battlecruiser
Schlieffen German Tier X Battlecruiser
Ships of Tiers III-V are based on the real ships of the Imperial German Navy that participated in World War I. The battleship Mackensen was launched in 1917 but not completed. The Tier VII-X battleships are based on designs developed in the late 1910s.
The concept of the alternative branch of German battleships rests on short-range combat due to their low concealment, decent secondaries, and small number of main battery guns with a low range of fire. The ships are also armed with long-range torpedoes.
HMS Incomparable British Tier X Special Battlecruiser (BB/BC)
A 1915 design for a gigantic fast battlecruiser, armed with six 508-mm guns in three turrets. Incomparable has low concealment and slim armor.
Detailed characteristics of the new ships will be published in separate posts on WoWs Gamer Blog ASAP, starting with HMS Incomparable and then German Tier X and Tier IX etc etc... each day.{alertInfo}

These new garman battlecruisers sucks. 1.6-1.7 sigma with standard BB accuracy are tragicaly bad. The old BB lines are superior compared these trahcans. Increase the sigma on the low tiers 1.8 or higher and 1.9 on the T8,9 and 10 including the premium Brandenburg too. Few guns with with low firing range with (shit Elbing torps) are the new line selling points right( these are horrible combo in my opnion)? And give them bad accury too ? Are you normal guys?
ReplyDeleteAlmost nobody will use them except some try hard german BB fanboys. Brandenburg will be hard pass with 1.6 sigma, Dont you understand that as a T8 you will meet always t9 and T10 battles? In T10 i need accurate guns considering that all T10 BB has sigma 1.9 or higher except the german GK :-).
So overall , these new line out of meta so hard , that not worth research and buy them.
Par for the course for wargaming. The company that treats it's customers like they're the enemy. Compare the axis ship lines to the allied ship lines. It's pretty disgusting.
ReplyDeleteGermany does need a BB line that has medium - short range mains, and relies on secondaries, because that line with accurate long guns, and limited secondaries just isn't any good at medium and close ranges. If you asked what I'm talking about, well clearly no one on the wargaming Dev team would ask such a question. France, the U.S. the U.K. and even Russia all have long range BBs, the Russians have the Slava. Still waiting on my German and Italian accurate long range BB. I'm not holding my breath.
