Early Access British Heavy Cruisers 0.9.0

British heavy cruisers V Hawkins, VI Devonshire, VII Surrey, and VIII Albemarle are coming to Early Access. You can get them by exchanging British Tokens for random bundles in the Armory.

Each ship comes with the Victorian White permanent camouflage.

Victorian White Permanent Camouflage.
The Royal Navy referred to the white-and-gold painting pattern adopted for ships operating in tropical latitudes as "Victorian White."

* –3% to the ship’s detectability range by sea
* +4% to the dispersion of shells fired by enemies at your ship
* –10% to the cost of the ship's post-battle service
*
+50% XP per battle.

British Tokens: obtained by completing Directives and Daily Missions, or from Daily Shipments.

Random Bundles: obtained in exchange for British Tokens. You'll always be informed of what rewards await you inside the currently available bundle, and once you open it, the next bundle’s exact contents will be revealed. The next available bundle is selected randomly, but its possible contents are always known to you beforehand.
Apart from the ships, random bundles can hold days of Warships Premium Account, Coal, camouflages, and special signals.

With the release of Update 0.9.1, Tier V–X British heavy cruisers will become available for all players to research in the Tech Tree.

What are the distinctive features of British heavy cruisers?
* Their guns can cause significant damage per salvo, but have a relatively short firing range and arching shell trajectory.
* Unlike British light cruisers, the nation’s heavy cruisers can use high-explosive shells.
* Tube-by-tube torpedo launching capabilities.
* Durable armour in the central part of their decks for ships at Tier VI and higher give representatives of the new branch greater survivability in comparison to other cruisers.
* Efficient Repair Party consumable: restores 50% of citadel damage, as opposed to the standard 10% for this ship type. Starting from Tier VIII, Repair Party restores 2% of the ship’s maximum HP per second instead of the standard 0.5%.
* All researchable British heavy cruisers can choose between Hydroacoustic Search and Defensive AA Fire.
Cruisers IX DRAKE and X GOLIATH have even more powerful artillery: main guns with a calibre of 234 mm and high-explosive shells that can penetrate armour up to 58 mm thick. Additionally, their Repair Party consumables are capable of restoring 60% of non-citadel damage.
Main Characteristics of Hawkins.
Hawkins was the first heavy cruiser in the British Navy. Her design was similar to those of light cruisers from the time of World War I, but in contrast to them, the ship carried powerful 190 mm artillery. During World War II, the ship provided support for the British forces that were fighting against the Italians in Africa, and also took part in the Normandy landings. In World of Warships, the ship is notable for having a large HP pool for her tier and good HE shells.
* Seven 190 mm guns placed in single mounts. The HE shells fired from these guns are remarkable for their impressive damage-dealing capabilities. Base chances of her HE shells causing fire: 13%
* Two twin-tube torpedo launchers with a fast reload speed, allowing you to deal significant damage to enemies at ranges of up to 7 km
* Her large HP pool and the Repair Party consumable she carries, which is quite an unusual feature for a cruiser of her tier, provide for decent survivability. The Repair Party consumable can restore a large part of any damage that might be caused to your ship's citadel
* You can choose between the Defensive AA Fire consumable to counter enemy carriers or the Hydroacoustic Search consumable to fight enemy destroyers
* The ship comes with a Commander with 3 skill points and a Port slot. (Bundle Only)

Main Characteristics of Devonshire.
Devonshire was a County-class heavy cruiser in the Royal Navy. During World War II, the ship evacuated King Haakon VII from German-occupied Norway, and later participated in the escort of the first U.S.S.R.-bound Arctic convoy. She sank German auxiliary cruiser Atlantis while operating in the Atlantic. In World of Warships, the ship is notable for having decent concealment for her type and a solid HP pool.
* Eight 203 mm guns placed in four turrets. The guns are peculiar for their decent HE shells that have impressive damage-dealing capabilities and high chances of causing fire on a target
* Two quadruple-tube torpedo launchers. The torpedoes can cause heavy damage and have a range of 8 km—quite good for a Tier VI cruiser
* The Repair Party consumable allows you to restore the majority of any damage that might be caused to your ship's citadel
* You can choose between the Defensive AA Fire consumable to counter enemy carriers or the Hydroacoustic Search consumable to fight enemy destroyers
* Decent concealment for a Tier VI heavy cruiser
* The ship comes with a Commander with 3 skill points and a Port slot. (Bundle Only)

Main Characteristics of Surrey.
Surrey was intended to become the pinnacle of development of the British County-class heavy cruisers, but her construction was cancelled in January 1930. It was planned for the ship to be protected with armour that would equal the strength of her armament. In World of Warships, she is notable for her good concealment and solid armour belt.
* Eight 203 mm guns placed in four turrets. The guns are peculiar for their decent HE shells that have impressive damage-dealing capabilities and high chances of causing fire on a target. Their firing range can be extended further with the help of the Spotting Aircraft consumable
* Torpedo armament comprising two quadruple-torpedo tubes. Torpedo range: 8 km is typical for mid-tier British cruisers
* The Repair Party consumable allows you to restore the majority of any damage that might be caused to your ship's citadel
* You can choose between the Defensive AA Fire consumable to counter enemy carriers, or the Hydroacoustic Search consumable to fight enemy destroyers
* Decent concealment for a Tier VII heavy cruiser
* The ship comes with a Commander with 3 skill points and a Port slot. (Bundle Only)

Main Characteristics of Albemarle.
Albemarle was a heavy cruiser design and the first ship planned to feature triple-gun main turrets in the history of British shipbuilding. In World of Warships, this ship is notable for her ability to deal decent damage with a single salvo and her pretty powerful AA defences.
* Nine 203 mm guns placed in three turrets. The guns are peculiar for their decent HE shells that have impressive damage-dealing capabilities and high chances of causing fire on a target. Their firing range can be extended further with the help of the Spotting Aircraft consumable
* Two quadruple-torpedo tubes. Torpedo range: 10 km
* The Repair Party consumable allows you to restore the majority of any damage that might be caused to your ship's citadel
* You can choose between the Defensive AA Fire consumable to counter enemy carriers or the Hydroacoustic Search consumable to fight enemy destroyers
* Decent concealment for her type and tier
* The ship comes with a Commander with 3 skill points and a Port slot (Bundle Only)
