Can you believe it has already been 9 years since World of Warships officially set sail on the virtual seas? WG have decided to give you a special in-game event with a variety of rewards, in Battle Performance Bonuses.
Added the famous Whaling calculator link.
Battle Performance Bonuses
A range of rewards is available in Update 13.8, Battle Performance Bonuses are making a comeback! You can earn these bonuses by achieving specific combat outcomes on all your ships at Tier V or higher.
Before you start digging too deep into the details, let us introduce you a brief list of changes and improvements for this year. It was never easier to collect your rewards while playing your favorite battle types!
- You will now obtain Battle performance bonuses for selected ship by earning cumulative Base XP. The amount of Base XP needed depends on the Tier of the ship.
- You can claim additional Battle performance bonuses for other ships by cumulatively earning 1,000 Base XP. Additionally, we reduced limitations of how many ships you have to own in order to be able to get several bonuses, making it easier for players with smaller fleets to benefit from this mechanic. Also, maximum additional rewards that can be triggered was increased from 5 to 7 for our collectors and players with large fleets.
- You will now be able to trigger Battle Performance bonuses for other ships, while playing the same ship multiple times.
These changes will make conditions for obtaining Battle Performance bonuses less demanding. Now you are free to bring your entire fleet into battle as before or play only on your favorite ship in preferred battle type and still get the Battle performance bonuses rewards. And you don't have to worry about your combat efficency in a single battle too much because now all conditions for unlocking Battle Performance Bonuses can be achieved through multiple battles without losing any progress
Upcoming Changes.
This year's anniversary will feature a different mission to accumulate your Battle performance bonuses for selected ship, so that you can keep playing the game in the way you prefer.
During the previous Anniversary, you were required to either win a battle or earn 300 Base XP regardless of the ship's tier to get the Battle Performance Bonus for your selected ship. This year, you'll be able to earn Base XP cumulatively and each ship will have its own progress bar, so the progress will not be lost in case you decide to take another ship into battle. As a result of this change, we also adjusted the Base XP conditions to scale with usual income per Tier.
Battle performance bonuses for selected ship
Tier | Base XP |
V | 200 |
VI | 250 |
VII | 300 |
VIII | 400 |
IX | 500 |
X | 600 |
Superships | 600 |
Similarly to the previous Anniversary in Update 12.8, you will again be able to receive several rewards at once as opposed to having to play each ship individually. However, we are making a few important improvements to this system.
During the last year anniversary, if you wanted to trigger battle performance bonuses for other ships, there was requirement of having 100+ ships in your port and also you could do it only once per ship. Additionally, you had to earn between 400 and 1200 Base XP in a single battle which provided you up to 5 additional rewards, based on the amount of ships in your port.
In Update 13.8 you can earn 1,000 Base XP cumulatively from battles and trigger Battle Performance Bonuses. Once activated, you'll receive extra rewards based on the amount of ships that you have in the Port. Now you might be thinking, "What happens if I earn more than 1000 Base XP in one battle? Will I lose out on progression?" Well worry not, because progress will not be lost if you achieve higher XP numbers. For example, if you scored 2,300 Base XP in a single match, you would receive the bonus twice as a result and have 300 Base XP progressed for the next bonus.
As for the amount of additional rewards, you can check out the breakdown in the table below.
Battle performance bonuses for other ships
Port Size | Number of additional rewards |
0-24 | 1 |
25-49 | 2 |
50-99 | 3 |
100-199 | 4 |
200-399 | 5 |
400-599 | 6 |
600+ | 7 |
And while you still can activate Battle Performance Bonus on each ship only once, now you can use the same ship for gaining additional Battle Performance Bonuses for other ships in your port as many times as you would like.

It seems that the most valuable ones are super containers, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSupercontainers are not as good as they used to be, to be honest, I would go for the Rochester, if you own it already you get to use a coupon for one of the other ships on the list.
Deletewill it come X Brennus yet?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, we will find out when the 13.8 patch notes are available
DeleteI have opened lately 100+ Super containers not one ship from them
ReplyDeleteWow, that's mad :(
Delete100super containers not one ship lately
ReplyDeleteI presume that you made the comment above.
DeleteI am unable to locate the festive reward tokens in the Armory. Any clue?
ReplyDeleteupdate 13.8 is next month, we are still on 13.7
Deleteok thanks. I thought they would be showing up in the test sever as well while earning them there.
ReplyDelete9th Anniversary and I am playing since Beta - so far I got 3 or 4 ships from SupaContainers (aka TryYourUnluck), 2 of them from the last year Annyversary container "give away". Chances are better than waiting for the next random dropped Supa. Rochester is more exiting for me as I got it during the football worldcup event, so its a free-ticket for another Tier8
ReplyDeleteI hope it will new France battleship tech line tier 10 close look like Jean Bart add model or some other, and will it come new France carrier for tech line?
ReplyDeletedo we think they will do their half off modules, better xp to free xp ratio, etc. this time around like last anniversary? the ratios are still terrible for the doubloons but half off modules is nice
