European Destroyers Tiers V - IX: Early Access

Update 0.9.2 sees the launch of an event dedicated to the release of the European destroyer branch of the Tech Tree.

Temporary resource of the "European Destroyers: Part 1" Event.

You can exchange European Tokens for various valuable in-game items, as well as Early Access to some ships, until the end of Update 0.9.3. Please note: during Update 0.9.3, you will only be able to obtain European Tokens from random bundles that are available in exchange for doubloons.

Rewards from Daily Shipments and for completing Directives: European Event Containers, which can drop the European camouflage, Coal, and a new temporary resource, European Tokens.

Items available in the Armory in exchange for Tokens: credits, expendable camouflages, signals, and days of Premium Account.

Bundles that provide Early Access to European destroyers: can be obtained in exchange for European Tokens. There are a total of five bundles which are opened in sequential order. You'll find a Tier V destroyer in the first bundle, the next bundle will contain a Tier VI destroyer, etc., up to Tier IX. Each bundle includes a ship, a Commander with 3 skill points, and a Port slot. You'll always be informed what rewards await you inside all bundles. Once you obtain one, the next bundle will become available to exchange:

These Destroyers have a Status of Special Ships During the 0.9.2 "European Destroyers: Part #1" Event

Starting 0.9.3, these ships will become default tech-tree Researchable Ships, joining Tiers II - IV and X.

1st Bundle: Cost  200 European Tokens.

1 x V Visby: European Tier V Destroyer 

Visby is a destroyer that served in the Swedish Navy for more than 30 years. In World of Warships she represents Europe. In contrast to other ships of her type, she is capable of high speeds and has good concealment, as well as an unconventional set of consumables.
* Five 120 mm guns. The main battery has a reload speed of 5.5 seconds, which is decent for its tier, but the ship's main armament is her torpedo launchers
* Two triple-tube torpedo launchers. The torpedoes have a range of 9 km, which is high for their tier, as well as a fast reload time and decent speed, but the damage they cause is significantly lower than that of other same-tier destroyers
* Her modest HP pool is compensated for by the fact that she carries the Repair Party consumable—a rare feature for destroyers
* The already decent standard speed of the ship can be temporarily increased by using the Engine Boost consumable
* In contrast to most destroyers, this ship is not equipped with the Smoke Generator consumable

The ship comes with all researchable modules. If you already have Tier V Visby, you will get compensation in the form of credits.

2nd Bundle: Cost  400 European Tokens.

1 x VI Västerås: European Tier VI Destroyer

Västerås is a design of a large, fast-moving, and well-armed destroyer, developed in Sweden for the Polish Navy. In World of Warships she represents Europe. The ship is notable for having numerous main battery guns for her type and tier, torpedo tubes with a fast reload time, and the Repair Party consumable.
* Six 120 mm guns. The moderate gun characteristics are compensated for by their number.
* Two triple-tube torpedo launchers. The torpedoes have a range of 10 km, which is quite long for their tier, as well as a fast reload time of 55 seconds. However, the damage they can cause is significantly lower than that of other same-tier destroyers
* She carries the Repair Party consumable, which is rare for a destroyer. This considerably increases the ship's survivability
* The already decent standard speed of the ship can be temporarily increased by using the Engine Boost consumable
* In contrast to most destroyers, this ship is not equipped with the Smoke Generator consumable

The ship comes with all researchable modules. If you already have Tier VI Västerås, you will get compensation in the form of credits.

1 x VII Skåne: European Tier VII Destroyer

Skåne is a destroyer design that was developed in order to strengthen the Swedish Navy during World War II. In World of Warships she represents Europe. The ship is notable for having a small number of rapid-firing main battery guns, fast torpedoes with a long range, and good AA defences.
* Four 120 mm guns with very fast reload time of 2.8 seconds
* Two triple-tube torpedo launchers. The torpedoes are remarkable for their high speed of 76 knots, long range of 12 km, and fast reload time, their downside being the low damage they are capable of causing
* Good AA defenses for her type and tier 
* She carries the Repair Party consumable, which is rare for a destroyer. This considerably increases the ship’s survivability
* Her speed can be temporarily increased by using the Engine Boost consumable
* In contrast to most destroyers, this ship is not equipped with the Smoke Generator consumable

1 x VIII Öland: European Tier VIII Destroyer

Öland was the first destroyer with dual-purpose main battery guns that was built in Sweden. In World of Warships she represents Europe. The ship is notable for having a low detectability range, fast torpedoes with a long range, and good AA defences.
* Four 120 mm guns with a reload time of 2.5 seconds
* Two triple-tube torpedo launchers. The torpedoes are remarkable for their high speed of 76 knots, long range of 12 km, and fast reload time, their downside being the relatively small maximum damage they are capable of causing
* Good AA defences for her type and tier. They can be additionally strengthened by activating the Defensive AA Fire consumable, placed in a separate slot
* She carries the Repair Party consumable, which is rare for destroyers and allows her to restore part of any lost HP
* Her speed can be temporarily increased by using the Engine Boost consumable
* In contrast to most destroyers, this ship is not equipped with the Smoke Generator consumable

The ship comes with all researchable modules. If you already have Tier VIII Öland, you will get compensation in the form of credits.

1 x IX Östergötland: European Tier IX Destroyer 

Östergötland is a representative of the last series of destroyers of the Swedish Navy. In World of Warships she represents Europe. The ship is notable for having very fast torpedoes with a long range and good AA defences. She has just a few main battery guns, but they are capable of rapid fire.
* Four 120 mm guns with a very high rate of fire
* Two quadruple-tube torpedo launchers. The torpedoes are remarkable for their very high speed of 86 knots, long range of 13.5 km, and fast reload time, their downside being low damage they are capable of causing
* Good AA defenses for her type and tier. They can be additionally strengthened by activating the Defensive AA Fire consumable, placed in a separate slot
* She carries the Repair Party consumable, which is rare for a destroyer. This considerably increases the ship’s survivability
* Her speed can be temporarily increased by using the Engine Boost consumable
* In contrast to most destroyers, this ship is not equipped with the Smoke Generator consumable

The ship comes with all researchable modules. If you already have Tier IX Östergötland, you will get compensation in the form of credits.

COMBAT MISSIONS

During Update 0.9.2, five  combat missions will be available for V Visby, VI Västerås, VII Skåne, VIII Öland, and IX Östergötland, respectively. Completing them will reward you with the Three Crowns permanent camouflages. Besides those, you'll be able to complete two missions with X Småland to obtain European expendable camouflages as a reward.

In total, there are seven missions for European destroyers. Completing any five missions will reward you with free Three Crowns permanent camouflages for X Småland and X Halland.
Destroyer X Halland will become available to research in Update 0.9.3.
