- Main Battery reload time increased: 8.4 to 10.6s
- High-Precision Spotter consumable replaced with Spotting Aircraft with the following parameters:
- Action time: 100s
- Main battery firing range: +20%
- Reload time: 240s
- Charges: 4.
What this means:
Lanzhou is receiving a significant nerf. The main guns will fire much slower. The special High-Precision Spotter, which improves shell dispersion, is being replaced with a standard Spotting Aircraft that only increases range. This is a major reduction in the ship's combat effectiveness, making it harder to hit targets accurately.
- Main Battery reload time reduced: 6 to 5.3s
What this means:
Bremen is getting a straightforward buff. Its guns will reload faster, increasing its DPM (Damage Per Minute). This makes the ship more powerful in gunfights.
- Main battery parameters changed:
- Accuracy increased. It is now similar to all other submarines with main battery armament
- Reload time reduced: 8 to 7s
- Maximum dive and ascent speed increased: 2.2 to 2.9 m/s
- Diving plane shift time reduced: 20.7 to 15.3s
- Fast Damage Control Team consumable parameters changed:
- Number of charges reduced: 4 to 3
- Action time increased: 5 to 15s
- Reload time increased: 45 to 60s
- Additionally, we are now ready to reveal parameters of her Spotting Aircraft consumable:
- Total Usage time: 240s
- Minimum Usage time: 20s
- Main battery firing range: +20%
- Reload time: 40s
- The consumable cannot be used at periscope depth and underwater.
What this means:
Surcouf is receiving a mix of buffs and nerfs, but overall it's a significant buff. Its surface guns are much more accurate and fire faster. It can also dive and surface much more quickly, making it more agile underwater. The trade-off is a nerf to its Damage Control Team, which has fewer charges and a longer cooldown, making it more vulnerable to fires and floods. The new Spotting Aircraft will be powerful for surface gunnery but requires the submarine to be fully surfaced to use.
- Dive bomber squadron parameters changed:
- Drop pattern changed significantly
- This will result in the bombs being dropped from a lower altitude
- Number of aircraft in squadron reduced: 8 to 6
- Number of aircraft increased: 8 to 12
- This will result in the ship being able to store 2 flights at a time
- Aircraft HP increased: 1,550 to 2,250
- HE bomb parameters changed:
- Maximum bomb damage increased: 5,500 to 6,700
- Chance to cause fire increased: 24 to 38%
- Armor penetration increased: 41 to 43mm
- Drop pattern changed significantly
What this means:
Aki's dive bombers are being completely reworked. While each attacking squadron is smaller, the individual bombs are far more powerful, dealing more damage, having a much higher fire chance, and slightly better penetration. The aircraft themselves are also more durable. The new, lower drop pattern will likely change how they aim and avoid enemy anti-aircraft fire. The total plane reserve is larger, and having two flights in the hangar means Aki can send out attacks more frequently and recover from plane losses more easily. This is a major buff that shifts Aki towards more powerful, but smaller, squadron strikes.
