Main Battery

  • Main Battery Guns Reload Time: Reduced from 10 seconds to 8.5 seconds.

This adjustment allows for faster engagement and better control over enemy ships.

  • HE Shell Fire Chance: Increased from 9% to 11%.

This boost in fire chance will make the Belfast '43 a more formidable opponent against less armored ships.

  • Turret Traverse Time: Decreased from 25.7 seconds to 22.5 seconds.

Now, players can respond more quickly to threats from various angles.

Consumables

  • Number of Surveillance Radar Charges: Upgraded from 2 to 3 charges.

This increase enables more opportunities for spotting and controlling key areas of the map.

These changes are intended to make the HMS Belfast '43 a more versatile and impactful cruiser in battles, enhancing both its offensive capabilities and survivability. We hope these updates will provide a fresh and exciting challenge for both new and veteran players.

Japanese Cruisers X Zaō and X Zaō CLR

Main Battery Turret Angle Improvements

One of Zao’s notable strengths is its reliable and powerful main battery. To further enhance its usability, the firing angles of all turrets have been adjusted, allowing for greater flexibility in positioning during combat:

  • First turret: Firing angles widened by 8 degrees per side, improving forward and backward coverage.
  • Second turret: Firing angles widened by 1 degree per side, offering a slight increase in its effective firing arc.
  • Third turret: Firing angles widened by 4 degrees per side, making it easier to maintain firing solutions while maneuvering.
  • Fourth turret: Firing angles widened by 9 degrees per side, significantly enhancing its ability to engage targets while kiting or retreating.

These adjustments enable Zao captains to maintain effective firepower without needing to expose as much broadside, thereby improving survivability.

Torpedo Turning Feature and Adjusted Firing Angles

A major update for Zao is the addition of a torpedo turning feature, which increases the versatility of its torpedoes. This feature provides Zao with more options for launching torpedoes in various combat situations. To accommodate this improvement, the following changes to torpedo firing angles have been made:

  • Forward firing angles: Increased by 10 degrees, allowing for improved torpedo deployment when closing in on targets.
  • Backward firing angles: Increased by 45 degrees, offering significantly better coverage for disengaging scenarios and surprise attacks while retreating.

This change makes Zao’s torpedoes more effective in both offensive and defensive roles, further solidifying its reputation as a versatile and tactical cruiser.

Summary

The adjustments in Public Test 14.0 aim to make Zao a more flexible and resilient combatant. Improved turret firing angles enhance its main battery’s usability, while the addition of a torpedo turning feature expands its tactical options. These changes should appeal to captains who appreciate Zao’s unique blend of stealth, firepower, and torpedo capabilities.

VIII Yumihari, IX Adatara and X Bungo

HE shells ballistic parameters changed. This will result in the flight trajectory becoming flatter, identical to that of the AP shells of the ships.

IX Adatara and X Bungo HE Shell Parameters Changes

Shell Air Drag: 0.543 to 0.292
Shell Mass: 1360.0 to 1130 kg
Shell Speed: 805.0 to 860.0 m/s

Shell Mass: 1016.0 to 970.0 kg
Shell Speed: 834.0 to 870 m/s

The following changes to Combat instructions conditions were made in order to improve overall playing experience, specifically in situations when shooting targets that you lose spotting on, or while blind firing at a target that's in smoke or behind an obstacle. The amount of progress for fulfilling the new condition has been increased to compensate for the new requirement of direct hits on a target. Hannover and Admiral Ushakov have received additional conditions to complement their gameplay and improve their effectiveness in battle.

Additionally, we have made changes to the Hydroacoustic Search consumable for Hannover and Clausewitz. Although Clausewitz and Hannover perform within tolerances, they fall toward the low end for Superships. WG are giving them some buffs in the form of emphasizing their traditional German strength of long-range Hydroacoustic Search.

Combat Instructions Changes

WG have made some adjustments to the Combat Instructions parameters for Satsuma to enhance gameplay and strategy:

  • Removed: Current progress conditions.
  • Added: New progress condition
  • Hit an enemy ship with a main battery shell: 8%.

These changes aim to reward precision and strategy, encouraging players to aim carefully and make each shot count in battles.

Hydroacoustic Search Consumable

Hydroacoustic Search consumable has been increased from 6km to 7km.

This upgrade will provide players with an extended detection range for enemy ships and torpedoes, enhancing situational awareness and tactical capabilities.

These changes aim to enrich the gameplay experience by adjusting the reward system for combat actions and enhancing one of the key tactical tools for Hannover players.

German Super Cruiser ★ Clausewitz

Hydroacoustic Search Consumable:

  • The range of the Hydroacoustic Search consumable has been increased from 6 km to 7 km.
This enhancement allows players to detect ships and torpedoes at greater distances, providing more strategic depth to gameplay.
