A post-war version of the Dutch Eendracht-class light cruiser design with an alternative main battery. The ship's main armament consists of automatic dual-purpose 120 mm guns, similar to those mounted on Friesland-class destroyers in the early 1950s.
The ship was given the name Vrijheid (Freedom), which was traditional for Dutch ships since the age of sail.

  • Unique Airstrike: Vrijheid has a unique airstrike with a fast reload and the ability to store up to three strikes, despite its poor range and squadron size.
  • Good Concealment and AA: She has good concealment, anti-aircraft capabilities, and a strong set of consumables, including a fast-reload Repair Party, enhanced Engine Boost, and Smoke Generator.

Vrijheid excels in close-range combat, especially against advancing targets. Key gameplay strategies include:

  • Utilize Cover: Use islands or the Smoke Generator to stay hidden while launching HE shells and airstrike bombs.
  • Enhanced Mobility: The enhanced Engine Boost and Repair Party can help in open water, but it’s risky.
  • Consumables: Good concealment, AA, and consumables like fast-reload Repair Party and enhanced Engine Boost mitigate weak armor and low hitpoints.
