New Pan-American Unique Commander

Unique Commander Joaquim Marques Lisboa will be available in the game with the start of Update 14.5 and can be paired with the new Pan-American ships. Complete the new "Battle of Paso de Patria" collection to claim this Commander! You will learn more about the collection in our 9th Anniversary publication.

Joaquim Marques Lisboa (1807–1897), also known as the Marquis of Tamandaré, was an outstanding naval commander from South America. A national hero of Brazil, Lisboa is the patron of the Brazilian Navy, and achieved glory in many conflicts throughout the 19th century.

This commander will have the following enhanced skills:

For  All Aircraft Carriers:

• "Survivability Expert" - Aircraft HP increase for each ship Tier +30, instead of regular +25

For  All Battleships:

• "Brisk" - Increases ship's speed while remaining undetected +12.5%, instead of regular +10%

For  All Cruisers:

• "Survivability Expert" - HP increase for each ship Tier +500, instead of regular +450

For  All Destroyers:

• "Survivability Expert" - HP increase for each ship Tier +400, instead of regular +350

 

Additionally, the commander will have the following talents:

Relentless Firing

Activates once per battle upon hitting enemy ships 175 times with main and secondary battery shells. Bonuses:

• Main battery reload time -5%
• Secondary battery reload time -22.5%
• Torpedo tube reload time -10%.

Can be triggered once per battle.

Master and Commander

Activates after using Combat Instructions two times. Bonus:

• Raises the minimum Combat Instruction progress from 0 to 20 until the end of battle.
• Increases ship speed by +5% until the end of battle.

Can be triggered once per battle.

How to obtain Commander Joaquim Marques Lisboa

Joaquim Marques Lisboa is a Pan-American Unique Commander. Unlike standard "Coal Commanders" who are purchased directly, Lisboa must be earned by completing a specific collection.

1. The Requirements

To unlock the commander, you must complete the "Battle of Paso de Patria" collection.

• Total Elements: 60 unique pieces.
• Duplicate Rate: 3 Duplicates = 1 New Element.

Pro-Tip: Do NOT use your duplicates to buy missing pieces until the very end. Calculate how many pieces you are missing versus how many duplicates you have to avoid overspending on containers.

2. Acquisition Methods (Armory)

Since the drop rate of elements is random, your total cost will vary based on "luck" with duplicates. On average:

• Average Containers Needed: 80 – 90 containers.
• Total Coal Estimate: 160,000 – 180,000 Coal.

4. Key Talents & Benefits

• Relentless Firing: 175 main/secondary hits grants -5% main battery reload and -22.5% secondary reload.
• Master and Commander: Using Combat Instructions twice grants +5% ship speed and sets minimum CI progress to 20% for the rest of the game.
• Enhanced Skills: Improved Brisk (+12.5% speed) and Survivability Expert (+500 HP per tier for cruisers).
