Adatara - Japanese Tier IX Researchable Battlecruiser 1921
Following the announcement of an ambitious shipbuilding program by the U.S.A. in 1919, the plan for the Japanese Navy was revised to include the construction of four battleships and four battlecruisers. Thirteen variations of battleships and battlecruisers were proposed. Variant A was selected to be a the Kii class battleship, while the variant K was used for the battlecruiser. The construction was to be started in 1922, but following the Washington Naval Conference the battlecruisers were never laid down.
