One of the London-class ships-British "Washington Treaty" cruisers of the second series. The large-scale re-equipment of all cruisers of this class which occurred in the late 1930s to the early 1940s provided for changes in the ships' silhouettes, and noticeable reinforcement of their armour protection.
Main Characteristics of Devonshire.
Devonshire was a County-class heavy cruiser in the Royal Navy. During World War II, the ship evacuated King Haakon VII from German-occupied Norway, and later participated in the escort of the first U.S.S.R.-bound Arctic convoy. She sank German auxiliary cruiser Atlantis while operating in the Atlantic. In World of Warships, the ship is notable for having decent concealment for her type and a solid HP pool.
