One of the King George V-class battleships. Shortly after her commissioning, HMS Prince of Wales took part in the famous Battle of the Denmark Strait, where, alongside HMS Hood, she confronted German raiders Bismarck and Prinz Eugen. The battleship was later transferred to the Pacific, where she was sunk by Japanese aircraft during a massive air attack on December 10, 1941.

Key Features

Battle Tips

  • Prioritize HE: Use her accurate, fast-firing HE shells to burn down targets. Switch to AP only against broadside light cruisers or destroyers at close range.
  • Manage Range: With short base range, use the Rapid Takeoff Spotter strategically to engage enemies from a safer distance when necessary.
  • Positioning is Key: Because of weak armor and low HP, avoid sustained, focused fire. Use concealment to reposition and pick your engagements.
  • Strategic Repairing: The Heavy Repair Team has a slower rate but higher capacity. Don't wait until you have a sliver of health left to use it; use it to maximize long-term survivability over a long engagement.
  • Angle or Die: Protect your weak fore and aft ends by staying angled to incoming fire.
