"In the Name of Tomorrow" Operations Return

Arctic Convoy, Tokyo Express, and Pacific Offensive are inspired by different periods of World War II and feature missions that reflect real objectives faced by naval forces of that era.

A short summary of the 3 Operations to serve as a refresher:

Arctic Convoy

Escort Allied transport ships through treacherous Arctic waters as they attempt to reach a central port under enemy pressure. Locate transports hidden in smoke, protect them along their individual routes, and repel enemy destroyers, aircraft, and other attackers. Escort at least one transport ship to safety to secure victory.

Tokyo Express

Under the cover of night in the South Pacific, hunt down enemy destroyers attempting to deliver vital supplies. Reduced visibility limits detectability, while flares and burning ships briefly reveal positions. Disable the enemy operation and defeat a powerful capital ship to complete the mission.

Pacific Offensive

Support San Diego as she advances to capture strategic atolls in the Marshall Islands. Destroy coastal defenses, repel repeated enemy waves, and coordinate closely to keep San Diego operational using the Coordinated Fleet Support consumable.

What's New?

  • Players can participate using Tier VI–X ships and Superships.
  • Submarines can participate with standard Operation-specific restrictions and adjustments.
  • To simplify matchmaking, there are no restrictions on ship nations.
  • Various balance adjustments have been made, and some secondary tasks have been simplified. Examples:
    • In Arctic Convoy, enemy waves will spawn less frequently.
    • In Pacific Offensive, one task now requires keeping San Diego’s HP above a certain level instead of using consumables.
  • As with other Operations, some secondary tasks will be randomized.
  • Divisions of up to 7 players are supported.
Important: All information in this post is 'Work in Progress', the announced adjustments and features may undergo multiple changes during testing, all changes will be added to this post immediately after they become available, the final details will be officially published and labelled in the ship info as 'Released' on this post.
