Key Features
Aberdeen is equipped with eight twin automatic 152mm guns, the same mounts found on the Tier X Cruiser Minotaur. These guns fire only AP shells, which feature improved penetration angles and fuse timers, resulting in a high damage output for her tier. Her strengths include good concealment and superior agility compared to her peer, Neptune. For consumables, she uses a Short-Burst Smoke Generator, similar to British Destroyers and Belfast '43, and is equipped with Surveillance Radar, allowing her to use her smoke effectively even when operating alone.
Battle Tips
Play Aberdeen as a support cruiser for your team's destroyers, focusing on securing key areas of the map and wearing down larger targets. Use her high rate of fire to be a serious threat to enemy destroyers and cruisers. However, her short gun range, small hitpoint pool, and large citadel make her vulnerable. Avoid aggressive attacks and being caught in bad positions, as she cannot survive a heavy assault from enemy battleships. Use her numerous, short-duration smoke charges in combination with her radar to create windows of safe damage output.
