New Flagship Effects

Starting with Update 14.4, all flagships gain additional effects depending on their ship type while also retaining their signature ability to influence the bots escorting them. Now more than ever, it's important to act strategically when facing flagships and the fleets they lead into battles.

Once detected, these flagships call for a pack of small motorboats. They're fragile, but their small size and high speed make them hard to hit. The flagship will periodically call for more reinforcements as long as it remains afloat.

Tactical Tip

Try to concentrate fire on the flagship as soon as you spot it because the longer it survives, the more time it will have to call in reinforcements. Individually, these motorboats don't pose much of a threat, but in large numbers, they can cause serious problems for your team.

shipicon Cruiser Flagships

Once a flagship is sunk, a bot cruiser in its command area will become a new flagship with the following features:

  • Affects surrounding bots similarly to its predecessor but doesn’t gain increased HP or unique vulnerabilities.
  • HP pool of the newly minted flagship gradually recovers over time.
  • Increased main and secondary gun damage.
  • Torpedo tubes immediately reload when it gains flagship status.
  • If destroyed, the new flagship will transfer its status to another cruiser if one is present within its command area. The only way to stop this chain reaction is to sink a flagship when no other bot cruisers are nearby.
Tactical Tip

When facing a fleet led by a flagship of this type, your priority should be to sink all surrounding cruisers. Once you’ve ensured that the flagship has no escorts left to give its status, it’s time to send it to the bottom.

shipicon Destroyer Flagships
  • This flagship periodically calls in aircraft that deploy minefields around players.
  • Destroyer bots under the influence of this flagship can now lay a minefield once per battle.
  • If a bot is destroyed before deploying its minefield, it explodes, damaging all nearby ships—both allies and opponents.
  • Dealing with minefields will be significantly easier than in other battle types which featured them:
    • Minefields are not hidden and are visible as soon as they are laid.
    • Minefields can be destroyed quickly, and to eliminate them, you'll need fewer Depth Charges or Airstrikes than before.
Tactical Tip

To prevent the enemy from laying their mines, swiftly sink both the flagship and destroyer bots under its influence. Keep your distance from these bots to avoid being damaged when they explode.

Upgradable Classified Documents

To even the odds against these mighty opponents, you can now upgrade your Classified Documents. Their effects increase with each new level, raising the combat capabilities of your ships. In Update 14.4, the maximum level is 5, with the cap set to increase in future updates.

Here's an example—let's say you want to better prepare for encounters with an Incendiary Specialist battleship and level up the corresponding Classified Document. This is how its effects increase:

Comparison of Level 1 & 5 Classified Documents

Level 1
Level 5
Attack capabilities
  • +10% fire damage
  • +10% damage from all HE ammunition to enemies on fire
  • +25% fire damage
  • +15% damage from all HE ammunition to enemies on fire
Defense capabilities
  • −5% damage taken from secondary battery shells
  • −15% damage taken from secondary battery shells
  • +10% dispersion of main battery shells fired by enemies attacking your ship

Leveling up your Classified Documents will increase your chances of success in battles against flagships.

How to Upgrade Classified Documents

  • To level up Classified Documents, you need Intel Tokens.
  • You can earn these Tokens via dedicated combat missions, most of which are available exclusively in Operations with Flagships, along with an additional weekly mission that can be completed in several battle types. After the release of Update 14.7, all unspent Intel Tokens will be removed from your account without compensation.
  • Each Classified Document must be leveled up individually; however, upgraded Classified Documents are not tied to a specific ship and can be mounted on multiple ships simultaneously.
  • By completing all the dedicated combat missions available in Update 14.4, you can earn up to 13,500 Intel Tokens—enough to upgrade up to four Classified Documents to Level 5. You can either focus on the ones that best match your playstyle or distribute your Intel Tokens evenly to strengthen your ships against any enemies.

To mount, change, or upgrade your Classified Documents, select Operations with Flagships as the battle type and go to the Equipment tab. You'll see the Classified Document section located above the section for your ship's armament. Click it to manage your Classified Documents.

At the start of each battle, you'll have a short time window to switch the preselected Classified Document for another one.
