Description

The ship is named after Siberia, a vast region in Northern Asia, which made up most of the territory of the USSR.

A more secondary-focused take on Kremlin, Sibir is even more configured for close-range engagements with her improved secondary battery. She also carries a Combat Instruction that when activated via secondary battery hits and potential damage improves her Main Battery accuracy.

The most unique element of Sibir is her Repair Party consumable. Similar to the new Time-Based smoke screen found on the alternative American destroyers branch, Sibir's heal works on a time rather than charges basis. However, compared to the other battleships of her tier, the amount of HP she can restore is lower. This, combined with her strong side plating, makes her very resilient in a close-range fight.

Her major downside is that of her deck plating thickness. Compared to Kremlin, it is thinner—meaning at range you are more vulnerable to incoming fire. This, combined with the lower-than-average main gun dispersion means that you will be ineffective at range. Additionally, she carries a conventional Damage Control Party consumable, rather than the typical Soviet limited variant.

Overall, Sibir is a Battleship that wants you to play aggressively, to get the most out of her improved secondaries and Combat Instruction. Her weakness in long-range combat can be mitigated on the run thanks to her new heal mechanic.
