Community Contributor Streamer Showdown 2024

Welcome to WG's exciting July and August Discord event on the WoWs Global Discord! Join us as players and Community Contributors (CCs) come together for an epic showdown, where you can pick a team led by a chosen CC and compete against others to win fantastic prizes for yourself and your team.

How to participate

Firstly, you must make sure you are authenticated on the Official Global Discord. If you've not already done so:

Step 1: Accept the Invitation to our Discord server here.
Step 2: Go to the #welcome-lobby channel and click on the Click here button.Tthis will take you through the process to link your Discord and Wargaming Accounts. This also comes with other in game benefits.

Note: If you play via any platform other than WGC, you will need to create a WGC account.

Once you have authenticated and can see all the channels, you will need to go to the channel #cc-showdown-team-selection. Once there, select your favorite Community Contributor from the list.

By choosing a CC, you will now have a role on the Discord server that tracks your team’s progress. You will also gain access to a text channel dedicated to that team, so you can chat with your teammates and coordinate your efforts.

The event will run in two parts, each lasting 14 days.

Stage 1 starts: Jul 18, 14:00 UTC

Stage 1 ends: Aug 1, 14:00 UTC

Stage 2 starts: Aug 2, 14:00 UTC

Stage 2 ends: Aug 16, 14:00 UTC

The team as a whole will earn Base XP which will be divided by the total number of players in that team. Rewards will be based on Stage 1, Stage 2, and overall performance, with special recognition for MVPs.

Prizes

	Premium Ship VIII container for the player with the most collected Base XP
	Premium Ship VII container for the 2^nd placed Base XP earner.
	Premium Ship VI container for the 3rd placed Base XP earner.
Random Rewards
	A Premium Ship VII container will be awarded to a random member of the winning CC’s team in each stage and overall.
Bonus Rewards
	Premium Ship VI container x10 to be randomly awarded among all participants.
	Distant Voyages Premium container x20 to be randomly awarded among all participants.
	The Winning CC for each stage and overall will have Premium Ship VII container x2 to giveaway, as well as additional Community Contributor Crates and Camo Codes.
	A Firepower Premium container will be awarded to the players with: Most Damage earnt Most Kills scored Most Main Battery Shell Ribbons
	Finally, all participants who earn at least 5,000 Base XP will earn More Signals container x1.
