West Virginia '44: Tier VII American Battleship 1923
USS West Virginia sank as a result of the attack on Pearl Harbor. In 1942, the ship was re-floated and extensively rebuilt. She received bulges, reinforced decks, a new superstructure, radar, and a new dual-purpose main battery. She returned to service in the Pacific in time for the start of the Battle of Leyte. During the battle, West Virginia delivered several successful hits on battleship Yamashiro and cruiser Mogami. In 1945, the ship took part in the Battle of Iwo Jima and in the landings on Okinawa. In the course of the war, West Virginia was awarded five battle stars.

- The shipbuilding process consists of 30 phases, and 28 of them can be progressed through by completing Dockyard combat missions. These missions will be available from the start of Update 13.3 until the end of Update 13.4. The Dockyard will remain available in the Port until the release of Update 13.6.
- You can also progress through shipbuilding phases by purchasing them for 2,100 per phase.
- At the beginning of the process, you can purchase Dockyard Starter Packs: 2 shipbuilding phases in exchange for 3.200 or 9 shipbuilding phases in exchange for 12,000 Doubloons. These packs will only be available to purchase before the point in time when you complete five shipbuilding phases by finishing combat missions.
- This means that if you complete all combat missions, you'll only need to purchase two more phases to obtain X USS Wisconsin and getting the smaller starter pack is the cheapest way to get her.
- This time, you can obtain more than one ship through the Dockyard! When you reach phase 20, VII W. Virginia will be waiting for you. She's another veteran of the Pacific campaign, so don't miss this opportunity to add her to your collection. If you already own VII W. Virginia, you'll be compensated with three shipbuilding phases, meaning that, with enough combat missions completed, you can get X USS Wisconsin completely for free!
