The Free State of Anhalt as part of Germany was formed in 1918 on the territory of the duchy of the same name and formally existed until 1946. Its coat of arms was a symbol of the city of Bernburg, the oldest possession of the Dukes of Anhalt.

Key Features:
Anhalt's relatively small calibre guns are compensated by their number, high salvo weight, and high armour penetration of high-explosive shells. The ship is well protected against both HE and SAP shells.
However, her citadel is quite vulnerable to enemy shells compared to the typical armour scheme of German battleships.
In close combat, Anhalt can surprise the enemy with her powerful 700mm torpedoes mounted in four single tube torpedo tubes.
At the same time, unlike most German battleships, she has no Hydroacoustic Search.
