Triunfante - Tier IX Spanish Premium Battleship 1921
Following the end of World War I, Spain repeatedly gave thought to replacing their España-class dreadnoughts since they were the smallest dreadnought-type ships ever built. British shipyards offered several proposals to meet Spain's needs and sought to support the nation's domestic shipyard operations. Design I3 was one of the largest battlecruiser proposals for the Royal Navy. Such a ship may have been offered to Spain during the 1920s if treaty limitations had allowed it. It could have been rearmed with modern Italian weaponry following the victory of Francisco Franco and the Spanish Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War.

Key Features and Battle Tips
Key Features
- Devastating Alternative Firing Mode: Trades away firing range and reload speed for massive alpha strikes. Activating this mode grants a massive +25% AP shell damage and a +10% HE shell damage boost.
- Close-Range Powerhouse: Armed with nine 406 mm main guns. While her performance is mediocre at medium-to-long ranges, her main battery potential skyrockets the closer she gets to the target.
- High Top Speed: Boasts an impressive base speed of 32.5 knots. Combined with decent maneuverability, she can cross open water and close the distance to enemies rapidly.
- Solid Bulk Survivability: Features a respectable hit point pool to support aggressive pushes, though her actual armor plating is only average for her tier.
- Bare-Bones Consumables: Highly limited utility with access to only Damage Control Party and Repair Party.
- Notable Vulnerabilities: Lacks effective secondary armaments, suffers from mediocre anti-air (AA) defense, and has a low torpedo damage reduction stat.
Battle Tips
- Time Your Firing Modes: Use your standard firing mode while cruising or closing the gap. Switch to the unique alternative firing mode right before you have a guaranteed, high-impact salvo lined up—especially when an enemy cruiser or battleship exposes their broadside.
- Watch Your Flanks (No Hydro): Because you lack the Hydroacoustic Search consumable, you are highly susceptible to torpedo ambushes. Avoid blindly pushing into smoke screens or unspotted caps where enemy destroyers might be lurking.
- Protect Your Citadel: While you are built to get into close-quarters brawls, your armor will not save you if you flash your broadside. Angle strictly while pushing in to maximize your durability, and use your high top speed to dictate the terms of the engagement.
- Avoid the Long-Range Snipe: Do not get caught playing a passive, long-range game back at the baseline. Your accuracy and alpha damage are unimpressive at a distance. Use cover and your 32.5-knot speed to safely bridge the gap to where your guns truly shine.
