Following the end of World War II, British company Vickers-Armstrong developed a new light cruiser (Design 1124A) taking into account the lessons learned from the war. It combined modern fire control with a strong main battery of twelve 152 mm guns and improved 120 mm secondary guns. Created to be modified with different armaments to suit customer needs, the core design was intended to be offered to the major South American navies, including Argentina's. However, due to the acquisition of interwar American light cruisers by these nations, the new design was no longer required.

  • Versatile Consumables: Features a strong utility toolkit, including a choice between Hydroacoustic Search or Defensive AA Fire, a Smoke Generator for concealment, and a Repair Party to sustain her health.
  • Fragile & Specialized: Lacks torpedo armament entirely, possesses a small hit point pool, weak armor, and a modest top speed.

Battle Tips

  • Adapt Your Playstyle: Start the match or hold a flank in a traditional support role. Use island cover or your Smoke Generator to safely rain down shells on enemy targets.
  • Time Your Engagements Carefully: Because of your low speed and limited survivability, avoid open-water engagements. Rely on your excellent concealment to pick the perfect moment to strike.
  • Punish Broadsides: Wait for enemy ships to show their broadside, then activate your Combat Instructions. The combined burst damage from your main guns and enhanced secondaries can shred targets in a short amount of time.
  • Watch the Target's Angle: Your unique secondaries rely on low-caliber AP shells. Their efficiency drops significantly against angled targets, so switch targets or tactics if the enemy bows-in.
  • Respect Big Guns: While your Repair Party helps mitigate damage, you remain highly vulnerable to heavy cruisers and battleships. Never overextend into their direct line of fire.
