Fuyutsuki - Tier X Japanese Destroyer
Fuyutsuki, meaning “Winter Moon,” was one of twelve Akizuki-class destroyers designed to strengthen the Imperial Japanese Navy’s anti-aircraft capabilities. The class was equipped with the highly effective 100 mm dual-purpose guns intended to provide strong air defence for the fleet.

Key Features and Battle Tips
Key Features
- High-DPM Main Battery: Rapid-firing guns designed for sustained damage.
- Improved HE Penetration: Strong High Explosive shells capable of shattering heavy plating.
- Specialized Consumables: Access to Exhaust Smoke Generator and Torpedo Reload Booster.
- Durability: Features a large health pool for a destroyer at her tier.
- Mobility Trade-offs: Low maximum speed and below-average maneuverability.
Battle Tips
1. Mastering the Main Battery
Fuyutsuki plays similarly to the VIII Akizuki. Her improved HE penetration allows her to melt through cruiser decks.
Tip: Equip the "Inertia Fuse for HE Shells" (IFHE) Commander talent to reach the 32mm penetration threshold, allowing you to damage the bow and stern plating of most battleships.
2. Tactical Smoke Usage
The Exhaust Smoke Generator is your most versatile tool. Use it offensively to rain shells on targets while moving at full speed, or defensively to disengage. Because of her low top speed and modest concealment, you cannot always outrun your peers—use the smoke to break line-of-sight when pressured.
3. Torpedo Management
While you only carry a single quadruple launcher, don't underestimate it. These torpedoes boast high damage and good speed. Use your Torpedo Reload Booster to create a wall of skill when fending off an enemy push or while waiting for your smoke shells to go off cooldown.
Summary: Fuyutsuki is a formidable gunboat that punishes positioning errors. Play her as a mid-range harasser, but always have an exit strategy ready due to her sluggish handling.
