Admiral Schröder - German Tier IX Premium Heavy Cruiser 1945 (0.11.11 Dockyard Ship)
A ship project, which is based on the idea of the late 1920s to create a fast battlecruiser that carries 305 mm artillery and has fairly weak armour protection.

- Armoured deck slope armour reduced: 80 to 28 mm.

Admiral Schröder Commemorative Flag.
After World War I, the Flanders Cross was awarded to veterans of the Flanders Corps, commanded by Admiral Schröder. The award depicts an anchor topped with an imperial crown framed by laurel branches against the background of crossed swords.

Key Features
The ship is well suited for combat at medium distances due to its decent survivability, not bad for a cruiser armour, as well as the large calibre of its main battery guns and high firing accuracy.
In the event of a close encounter with the enemy, powerful and accurate secondary guns with a long range come into play, and the proprietary German "Hydroacoustic Search" is useful against torpedo attacks.
The cruiser has good concealment and is able to quickly change flank and take the desired position thanks to an "Engine Boost" with improved characteristics.

In German you pronounce the ö-sound like, say “ay” as in day so it's Admiral Schr (ay) der not Schr (oh) der in case anybody cares.
ReplyDeletenot even true. it is pronounced as an "oe" sound, so like the word "duh", but drop the d, so it becomes "uh" but with a more "ouh" inflection.
DeleteMore like the u in murder
