15.3 "Mountain Range" Map Changes
In Update 15.3, the long-standing map "Mountain Range" will receive significant changes to Key Area locations and additional terrain for better cover.

The previous layout suffered from several issues:
- Divided the map too strictly, preventing fluid rotations.
- Restricted movement options across the center.
- Provided ineffective cover on the left flank.
The rework aims to:
- Open up the map for more dynamic gameplay.
- Improve island placement and quality of cover.
- Reduce restrictive terrain that trapped ships.
- Improve Key Area positioning for balanced competition.
Key Area A is now more accessible, and Key Area B has been relocated. Additional terrain adjustments were made both above and below water to improve navigation. Note: The Mountain Range map used in Operation Aegis will be updated in a future patch.
Changes to Domination Game Mode
Based on recent testing of Domination scenarios in Random Battles, data shows that the "Alternative" settings result in fewer battles ending prematurely. Starting with Update 15.3, these parameters will become the new default for all standard Domination scenarios (3 and 4 Key Areas).
These changes apply to all ship tiers, all maps, and will also affect Training Battles. The following sub-modes are also included:
- Domination – Local Weather
- Domination – Local Weather – Four Areas
- Domination – Four Areas – Diamond
Detailed Parameter Breakdown
The core of this change lies in the equalization of ship values and a reduction in the initial starting points, making every ship's survival equally vital and every loss equally impactful, regardless of class.

By unifying the points awarded for destroying enemies and the penalty for losing allies at 40 and 25 respectively, the game mode now places a higher premium on total team performance rather than targeting specific high-value classes to trigger a point-victory.
