Clan Battles Season 29 (Sea Lion) Changes
Based on initial community feedback, WG have introduced a set of restrictions designed to shake up the current meta ship lineups and their associated playstyles in the 29th Season of Clan Battles—Sea Lion.
Ship Restrictions (Effective March 26)
Banned Ships (Cannot Be Used):
- Petropavlovsk
- Alexander Nevsky
- Louisiana
- Hildebrand
- Komissar
- Libertad
- Cristoforo Colombo
- Småland
Note: Analog ships (Black Friday/collaboration versions) are automatically banned if their original is restricted.
One-Ship-Per-Team Limits:
Group 1: Only one of these per team:
- Kléber
- Marceau
- Marseille
- Napoli
Group 2: Only one of these per team:
- Moskva
- Stalingrad
- Des Moines
- Svea
- Brisbane
- Minotaur
- Worcester
- Gearing
- Somers
- Harugumo
- Yueyang
- Gdańsk
Design Goals
- Force strategic choices between utility cruisers (e.g., Des Moines) and smoke DDs (e.g., Gearing)
- Disrupt static meta lineups with frequent restriction updates
- Encourage clan adaptability and experimentation
