Key Features of the New Destroyers

The main distinguishing feature of these destroyers is an innovative Smoke Generator with a limited total usage time instead of individual charges. This system allows for more flexible smoke usage, whether for offensive actions or tactical retreats, while maintaining balanced gameplay.

These gunslingers of the sea boast high damage per minute with both HE and SAP shells. VII Hughes is armed with 127 mm main battery guns, while the Tier VIII and above destroyers feature more powerful 137 mm artillery. The line features large HP pools but trades off with poorer concealment and fewer torpedo tubes.

Minimum Usage Time: 15 s

Cooldown after Use: 20 s

Dispersion Time: 5 s

The new Smoke Generator system rewards smart resource management while allowing for more tactical adaptability in battle.

Early Access Details

Note Sequential bundles containing the new American destroyers and other rewards will become available in the second week of Update 14.6. To purchase the bundles, you'll need

American Tokens, which can be earned through special activities available from the update's release.

VII Hughes will be available during 14.6/14.7 in the Armory for 630 American Tokens in total.

VIII Osborne will be available during 14.6/14.7 in the Armory after spending 1560 American Tokens in total.

IX Christopher will be available during 14.6/14.7 in the Armory after spending 2790 American Tokens in total.

X Burrows will be available during 14.6/14.7 at the end of a sequential bundle chain for 20,000 Doubloons.

Where to obtain American Tokens

3,770 American Tokens from random bundles available for Doubloons.
400 American Tokens from the first progression line of the U.S. Destroyers Event Pass.
Up to 1,000 American Tokens by completing Personal Challenges available in Update 14.6.

Commander Neil Chesters with 10 skill points—150 American Tokens (limit: 1)
3x Battle of Leyte Gulf containers—50 American Tokens (limit: 6)
150 000 Credits—10 American Tokens (no limit) (Make sure you purchese these credits if you have any leftover tokens before the event ends or you will only get 15,000 Credits as compensation)

Personal Challenges Return

Update 14.6 brings back personal challenges, giving you an opportunity to demonstrate your combat skills by earning Base XP. These personal challenges are divided into two sprints, each lasting 2 weeks. Completing one challenge will bring you 20 American Tokens and 10,000 credits Credits. In total, you can earn up to 500 American Tokens during each sprint. Upon reaching this limit, you'll stop earning American Tokens, but you can continue completing challenges to earn more credits Credits.
