Foca - Tier VI Italian Researchable Submarine
A medium-sized, ocean-going submarine equipped for minelaying operations. The Foca-class submarines had an unusual design feature: a 100 mm gun mounted at the rear of the conning tower that could rotate together with part of the structure. All three submarines of the class served in the Mediterranean during World War II. The lead submarine was lost under unknown circumstances early in the war, in October 1940.

I've come up against this several times this evening in DD's ranging from T5 - T7 from various nations and to be honest the Foca just feels pretty imbalanced to put it mildly, due to the combination of a long duration reload booster supported by smoke and an incredibly low detection radius. Further to this, I was consistently landing salvos of 4 - 6 shots per salvo against this sub from the aforementioned DD's and found I was doing very little damage regardless of round used. Something just seems out of wack with these at the time of posting.
