Event Rules
Blast From the Past sends you back in time by focusing exclusively on surface ship combat, with no aircraft carriers or submarines available. While it isn't an exact recreation of the game's earliest days—after all, we wouldn't want to set aside the technical and gameplay advancements we've made—it will capture the spirit of those earlier experiences.
Format
- 12v12
- Battleships, cruisers, and destroyers only
- Each team can have:
- Up to 6 battleships
- Up to 9 cruisers
- Up to 6 destroyers
- Battles will be fought in the Domination and Standard game modes
- Divisions are available for up to 4 players
Blast From the Past is structured into six chapters, each representing a different phase of the game's history. The first five chapters are themed around specific years: 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2022. Each chapter restricts gameplay to only the ships and maps available up to that particular year. Ship tier restrictions differ between chapters.
The sixth and final chapter isn't tied to a specific year. Instead, it features the current full selection of maps and nearly all available ships. However, this phase introduces a new layer of restrictions, specifically targeting ships equipped with advanced mechanics like Airstrike, Burst Fire, Combat Instructions, and hybrid ship designs.

Leaderboards
Two leaderboards, each lasting a week, will be active for Blast From the Past.
The top 100 players ranked by Base XP earned in a single Blast From the Past battle will be rewarded with 1,000 Community Tokens each. Rewards and conditions are the same for both leaderboards.
